Jamaica is a vibrant island nation in the Caribbean known for its lively culture, awe-striking natural beauty, beaches, and being the birthplace of reggae music, along with Bob Marley. There is so much to do and see all around the country, the list could go on forever. It's the third-largest island and the largest English-speaking country in the Caribbean. The island has a maritime tropical climate with warmer sea-level temperatures, gradually getting lover in the mountains. The original inhabitants of Jamaica were the Arawks, who named the island “xaymaca” which means land of food and water. This was before Christopher Columbus and his men invaded in 1494.
